Freightquote is a privately held freight broker with services throughout North America. Its gross revenues for 2014 are estimated to be $623m. Founded in 1999, it is one of the nation’s largest internet-based brokers. Freightquote provides truckload, less-than-truckload and intermodal services to some 80,000 customers. C.H. Robinson is a global provider of transportation and logistics services, with a network of more than 280 offices in North America, South America, Europe and Asia. The deal is expected to close in the first quarter of 2015, the company said.
