Located between Douala and the port, the operation occupies two hectares. It provides 1,200 square meters of storage for full and empty containers. CMA CGM vessels call Douala twice a week. The carrier also handles land transportation in Cameroon, Chad and the Central African Republic, through a new entity dedicated to inland transportation development known as CMA CGM Inland Services (CCIS). Last year, the CMA CGM Group opened a platform in Dakar, Senegal, and has developed 14 terrestrial hubs to date, creating transport corridors between landlocked and coastal countries. The group has 1,300 employees and 72 offices in sub-Saharan Africa.
