It includes a full magnesium alloy case with handle and is resistant to spills and drops. The Toughbook 54 is available with discrete graphics, dual drives, up to 16GB of memory and a 1080p full HD display and webcam. The unit comes in four versions: Lite, Prime, Gloved Multi Touch and Performance. Other features of the new model include a high-resolution webcam, improved speakers and optional 1000 nit touchscreen. The computer runs on Windows 8.1 Pro Update 64-bit or Windows 7 Professional (available through downgrade rights from Windows 8.1 Pro).
