The update includes a number of new features, including embedded Epicor Compass analytics; active viewers to provide updates to inventory, customer and vendor records; and the availability of weekly eCatalog updates. A number of the additions are available through the optional, free Epicor Eagle N Series interface, which includes streamlined process flows aimed at helping users of all skill levels to maximize use of the Epicor Eagle software. Compass queries can now be conducted within the inventory maintenance, customer maintenance and vendor maintenance screens, without the need to launch a separate application. In addition, the active viewers allow for rapid changes to inventory, customer and vendor records through a spreadsheet grid. New accounting capabilities in the latest version include improved general ledger balancing, and integration with QuickBooks software. The application supports weekly Epicor eCatalog updates via the internet through the Epicor PartExpert Dynamic Updates feature.
