10-4 is a new transportation marketplace, exchange and one-stop shipping resource. According to Aljex, it operates as a "super load board," equipped with everything needed to book, track and bill for a load in real time. Integration allows Aljex customers to access 10-4 Systems directly through Aljex. Both are cloud-based and require no upfront investment, the company said. 10-4 matches loads with available capacity from a customer's prescreened carriers. In the process, customers can negotiate with carriers directly online. When a load is accepted, 10-4 links the customer’s Aljex system with the carrier's dispatch, to stay continuously informed about the location and estimated time of arrival of the load. According to Aljex, 10-4 eliminates the need for electronic data interchange.
