Odyssey Logistics & Technology Corp., a provider of global logistics and technology services to the chemical and process industries, has opened a European office in Antwerp, Belgium. The new location, operating under the name Odyssey Logistics Europe BVBA, will be led by managing director Chris Andries. According to the company, the expansion will allow it to provide an integrated, global offering which combines technology, people and processes. Odyssey said it has already secured several European clients, for whom it is providing a range of logistics services, including truck, rail and ocean transportation, as well as with warehousing and terminal capacity. European clients will be able to draw on the Odyssey Global Logistics Platform, internally developed software which includes a full transportation-management system designed to meet the needs of the chemical and process industries. The Web-based system links customers, carriers and other supply-chain participants, providing a single interface across the supply chain for North America and Europe.
