FreightWatch offers an array of logistics security services to prevent cargo theft within the supply chain. OpenTech provides risk-management software and services in Brazil. According to the two companies, the partnership will combine logistics security, consultancy and risk management in a unified offering to shippers, distributors, transportation companies and insurance providers. FreightWatch has developed embedded covert cargo-tracking systems for the U.S., Mexico, Europe and Malaysia. Its services include electronic freight security, round-the-clock monitoring, security escorts, cargo assessments and intelligence, and comprehensive logistics security.
