FreightWatch International, a provider of security services for global logistics, has launched an Authorized Intelligence Partnership Program. The effort is designed to boost the sharing of information throughout the industry. Members will be able to draw on FreightWatch's intelligence through their various business units; they can also use it for communications with vendors, partners and customers. FreightWatch publishes free reports on regional cargo-theft activity in the U.S., Mexico, Brazil and Europe. It also publishes an annual Global Threat Assessment. According to the company, the reports have generated numerous requests by organizations looking to post reports, charts, graphs and figures in websites, printed materials and other media. Membership gives companies the ability to use existing information or receive customized data that can be imbedded in their own media outlets. Services provided by FreightWatch include electronic freight security, round-the-clock monitoring, security escorts, cargo assessments and intelligence, and end-to-end logistics security.
