GE Capital Fleet Services has added features to its Online Vehicle Ordering product. The enhancements are intended to help truck fleet managers to automate and streamline their ordering process. Automated notification lets users receive e-mail notifications of the need to update ordering specifications or vehicle selectors due to changes in manufacturers' data. On-screen notification offers a new layout and expanded data to itemize changes in price and vehicle options. On-screen vehicle images on configuration screens let the customer know what a vehicle looks like before purchasing. In addition, GE Capital Fleet Services has enhanced its print and PDF options to include all detailed option codes, to help ensure that fleet managers have selected the appropriate options before ordering. Options codes have been added to make vehicle validation easier and faster. A net equipment view option provides a single view of the equipment, without the need for comparing standard and optional features.
