LeanLogistics, a vendor of hosted software for transportation and supply-chain management, has opened a principal sales and service office in Mississauga, Ont. The location, the company's first in Canada, is operating under the name LeanLogistics of Canada. It will provide sales and support for the vendor's full suite of products, available in a software-as-a-service (SaaS) mode. The company's OnDemand TMS application offers both French and English interfaces that are specific to Canadian regulations and processes. In addition to providing implementation, training and day-to-day support for Canadian clients, LeanLogistics of Canada will operate as a regional liaison for the company's shipper and carrier support, participate in Canadian supply-chain organizations and events, and facilitate sales processes for OnDemand TMS, managed transportation services, procurement and the Transportation Management Rate Index.
