LeanLogistics, a vendor of transportation management system (TMS) applications, has entered into a partnership with PINC Solutions to provide customers with tools for yard visibility and management. PINC is a provider of real-time location systems (RTLS) technology. Yard Hound, PINC's flagship product, supplies live data for all yard activities, including information on trailer parking positions, yard truck locations, gate activities and refrigerated trailer temperatures. The integration of Yard Hound with LeanLogistics' On-Demand TMS will give users active yard visibility as part of a complete suite of supply-chain applications, the companies said. LeanLogistics customers will also have access to PINC's LeanDex, LeanSource and Supplier Inbound Management tools. On-Demand TMS aids in transportation planning, execution, settlement, procurement, visibility and business intelligence. LeanLogistics also offers a range of outsourced options, including Managed Transportation Services, GreenLanes, Network Optimization and Carrier Procurement Services.
