Ariba Inc. has expanded its relationship with Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) to help global supply chains certify, monitor and analyze suppliers, with an eye toward mitigating risk. Ariba will incorporate D&B's records on more than 195 million businesses worldwide, including predictive supplier risk scores, into Ariba Discovery, a business-matching service accessed via the Ariba Network. Buyers and sellers can use the tool to connect via the cloud. D&B has been a part of Ariba Spend Visibility since 2009. The application provides users with access to intelligence on spend, supplier performance and procurement processes across categories, systems and divisions. D&B's database is enhanced by the company's DUNSRight Quality Process, which provides customers with quality information.
