In another company development, Ariba is teaming up with Microsoft Corp. to link business commerce and enterprise resource planning (ERP) applications. Users of Microsoft Dynamics AX will have access to the Ariba Network, with the ability to collaborate more effectively across the entire commerce process. Microsoft Dynamics AX includes built-in capabilities for multiple industries and geographic regions, with access to a broad range of Microsoft productivity tools. As part of the new alliance, Ariba will develop an adapter which will allow Microsoft Dynamics AX customers to connect to the Ariba network.
