Truetrac LLC has released three new software modules to support item traceability, harvest integration and safety for the food and agribusiness community. ItemTrac allows for the identification of individual consumer items, tracking produce from grower to customer and ensuring precision traceability, the company said. HarvestTrac also addresses issues of accuracy and traceability, supplying real-time visibility and control over harvesting operations to sales, distribution, cooler and production personnel. In the process, users can virtually eliminate paper-based, field ticket systems, which are prone to error. AuditTrac permits the collection and consolidation of food safety and quality inspection data from all areas of the operation. The three new products join the Truetrac System, which covers all aspects of data collection and management for the fresh produce supply chain. Other modules include LabelTrac, LaborTrac and CropTrac.
