Dubbed the Rutgers University Student Corporation Academic Partnership (RUSCAP), the program was designed to foster students' careers in logistics. Following the third year of studies, students will enter a comprehensive summer co-op program with Kuehne & Nagel to match the focus of their final year curriculum. According to the company, the goal is for graduates to enter the workforce possessing industry knowledge about logistics principles and concepts. As a Rutgers University partner, Kuehne & Nagel will also take part in research projects and provide guest lecturers and keynote speakers. Kuehne & Nagel has more than 63,000 employees at 1,000 locations in some 100 countries. It provides sea freight, air freight, contract logistics and overland transportation services, as well as related information-technology systems.
