In another company development, CaroTrans has launched two direct LCL export services from New York and Houston to Cartagena, Colombia. Freight from the Northeast, Middle Atlantic and Ohio is being consolidated in New York and shipped direct to Cartagena in eight days. With the addition of the new routes to CaroTrans's existing Miami service, the company intends to serve bilateral trade demand generated by the conclusion of the U.S.-Colombia Free Trade Agreement.
