Under the arrangement, TMWSuite will collect tethered and untethered trailer and reefer data directly from the Qualcomm Services Portal, providing customers with near-real-time alerts on trailer status. The integration supports both Qualcomm's Trailer Tracks 210 for managing untethered trailers, and Trailer Tracks 100 for tethered trailers. According to Qualcomm, fleets can gain access to timely information on trailer connect and disconnect, position, open- or closed-door alerts, and cargo-sensor updates for both loaded and unloaded equipment. The system also provides notifications and alerts for refrigerated equipment. In another company announcement, Qualcomm's In-Cab Navigation application is now integrated with the LoadMaster dispatch software of McLeod Software. The technology offers automatic stop-by-stop routing, eliminating the driver's need to manually enter addresses, while improving the process of next-route selection. In-Cab Navigation provides up-to-date, interactive maps for truck routing with turn-by-turn directions.
