With the new release, carriers can also send invoices and proof-of-delivery documents to a participating Transflo Velocity broker, 3PL or related company. In another company development, Pegasus TransTech has introduced a cloud-based version of its Transflo application for document and workflow management. Dubbed Transflo DMS, it was designed to help streamline business processes, by storing, indexing, organizing, searching for, retrieving, routing and sharing electronic documents online. The tool integrates with Pegasus TransTech's various scan-capture products, including Transflo Express for truck stops, Transflow Now! Anywhere, and Transflo Mobile, all at no additional cost. Transflo DMS also integrates with existing third-party systems, including accounting, dispatch, maintenance management and mobile communication devices. Carriers can add on Automated Express Indexing, Index Validation and the business-automation tool Transflo Workflow, which allows a company to map, manage and automate virtually any business process, according to the vendor. Transflo DMS can also gather, merge and auto-generate documents for electronic invoicing and settlements. It provides reporting tools to support business analysis for measuring and improving productivity.
