It will debut in March with "Building the Lean Leader," a lean-leadership course. According to LeanCor, the program will prepare individuals to implement lean principles, become more effective leaders and realize organizational excellence. Aspects of the course include how to implement lean principles, confront resistance, be a better student and teacher, create appropriate measurement systems, develop management systems that support lean thinking and build successful teams. Building the Lean Leader is broken down into 16 modules, with students choosing either a 16-week self-paced course, or eight-week instructor-led option. The latter includes instructor feedback and live group discussions. Each module contains educational material, video segments, hands-on interactive exercises, and knowledge assessments following each lesson.
