The application manages vehicle routing, scheduling, optimization, tracking and mobile workforces. The third update of the suite this year, 3.6.3 includes a new Routing Activity Tool to track and analyze routing performance, the ability to automatically implement drive-time restrictions, and an iPhone version of the MobileCast Proof of Delivery (POD) app. The Routing Activity Tool analyzes how much time has elapsed, and how many moves a router has made, in a routing session. It also looks at other key data points that can be used to optimize vehicle routing efficiency. New functionality within Territory Planning, Roadnet and MobileCast eliminate the need to manually check hours in order to ensure compliance with stricter hours-of-service regulations. Planners can utilize Roadnet's routing algorithms to create routes that do not exceed maximum allowable drive-time rules, even when a stop is added in planning, routing or dispatching mode. Additional features in the update are aimed at easing the burden of large-volume orders. The route-planning software automatically splits non-paired orders based on customizable criteria.
