The update contains a series of enhancements to allow for multi-CAD (computer-aided design) management. Other features include enablement of the TRUaras cloud-based file exchange; multi-language installer capabilities; expanded multi-level table-of-contents navigation, and support for Microsoft SQL Server 2012, Windows Server 2012, Windows 8 and IE 10. TRUaras from Trubiquity offers managed file-transfer capabilities. Users can securely share large CAD assemblies, technical data packages, manufacturing data, inspection and test results, and other intellectual property, all with full tracking and traceability. Included in every download, TRUaras is a free service for companies running the Aras software. It provides unlimited transactions with no file size limitation, the company said.
