The joint offering, aimed at mutual customers using QuickBook Enterprise, is intended to streamline order processing by linking electronic data interchange, shipping and accounting systems. Users of QuickBooks Enterprise can connect their StarShip shipping software with the TrueCommerce EDI platform. As a result, orders received via EDI and imported into Enterprise can be fulfilled and shipped without the need for manual reentry of data into any of the three systems. The HighJump and V-Technologies product allows manufacturers, distributors and drop-shippers to track orders from invoice to shipment, and from shipment to proof of delivery and invoicing. In the process, the companies said, they ensure the accuracy and timeliness of key order-fulfillment data shared with trading partners.
