Using a targeted list, buyers can now access individualized supplier profiles that are unique to company type, and which can include capabilities, equipment lists, product lines and brand names, demographics, certifications, news and videos to help in the decision to add to the shortlist. From there, they can issue a one-to-many request for information. The new Diversity application eliminates buyers’ need to consult several resources to find supplier that meet diverse spend goals. A new Certification application helps to identify suppliers that hold quality and other types of certifications and registrations. A Custom Quotes application eases the task of finding the right machine shop to perform custom manufacturing services. The vendor’s Product Sourcing application, with the ability to locate an exact product from more than one million items, now features 40 product selectors.
