Logility Inc. has released a new version of Logility Voyager Solutions, a suite of applications for supply-chain management. The update includes enhancements to multi-tier vendor minimums, substitution logic, role-based workflow and global visibility of demand, inventory and supply. It provides support for an interactive sales and operations planning (S&OP) process, offering templates for the management and analysis of information. The enhanced multi-tier vendor minimum capabilities allow companies to plan at higher levels of aggregation, such as style and color, and execute at more granular levels. Vendor orders can be managed at the aggregate level while being scheduled at the detail level. Enhanced substitution logic allows users better to satisfy orders and meet service-level targets. Improved role-based workflow capabilities include constraint-based order release and master data management. Managers are directed to approve replenishment orders released by schedulers, or to approve new transportation. The result is greater control and accountability over key company resources, Logility claimed.
