The update includes enhanced functionality that permits user customization. New Custom Route Profiles allow for the saving of frequently used routing and vehicle dimensions. Users that built extensive custom settings in previous versions, including route options, road speeds and vehicle profiles, can easily import them to PC-MILER 28. The application’s time-based routing feature also integrates road restrictions that are active during specific times, and provides restriction warnings in its detailed driving directions. Additional enhancements include optimized routing for medium-duty trucks and the ability to add custom categories to the Custom Place Manager feature. The new version also features improved routing, map data and address matching.
