According to the vendor, the tool provides real-time metrics and data, which enable employees to see how they are performing against goals. Users can instantly transmit metrics, for such activities as picking and packing by team or individual member, to employees on the manufacturing or warehouse floor, via scoreboards on large displays and desktop dashboards. The data can also be transmitted to mobile devices, enabling management to monitor activity from any location or through preset threshold alert notifications. The Labor Productivity Improvement tool is part of RMG Networks' Six in Six Initiative, a plan to bring six new business applications to market within six months.
