The offering is an extension of the domestic service that Odyssey currently provides. It was developed in response to increasing customer demand across the globe, the company said. Odyssey is already providing door-to-door service into Canada and Mexico as part of its service in the North American intermodal metals market. The new service will provide customers with “one-stop shopping” for all domestic and international movements, Odyssey said. Components of the new international service are Odyssey’s Load and Roll Pallet and its proprietary system of services that allow for the damage-free transportation of coiled metal product, packaged and loaded in any orientation. Odyssey’s services including international transportation management, intermodal transportation, trucking, managed services, consulting and sample fulfillment.
