InnerTrack now provides hospitals using their own couriers with tools to manage and track the movement of packages within a healthcare system, including supplies, specimens and other items. The capabilities eliminate the manual, paper-based processes that are associated with point-to-point pickup, delivery and tracking, Jump said. InnerTrack allows hospitals to track their couriers using iPhones with GPS tracking, while simultaneously providing drivers with real-time status of pickups and deliveries scheduled on their routes. The tool also provides the capability to capture electronic signatures on the device, providing real-time packages status, including proof of pickup and delivery.
