Solution: We broke ground for our fourth intermodal rail yard as part of a more than $600m spend to establish direct access to on-dock or near-dock rail for all of our constituent container terminals. Scheduled for completion in 2018, this fourth facility will have an annual capacity of 430,000 TEUs and link with our two Class 1 rail carriers to reach key inland markets.
Results: We're prepared for a future of higher cargo volumes. This is necessary since we are the first port of call for 75 percent of our incoming vessel services. And August 2017 logged the highest month for both overall volumes and rail lifts.
