Barcoding Inc. and Apacheta Corp. have teamed up to provide a range of mobile hardware and software to field service and delivery companies throughout the U.S. Barcoding Inc. is a provider of automated data-capture products. Apacheta sells mobile business applications for businesses in consumer packaged goods, service and transportation. The deal combines Barcoding's expertise as a hardware integrator with Apacheta applications such as ServiceACE and RouteACE, to help customers better utilize their field workers. According to the partners, companies will be able to streamline their deployment processes and simplify support needs. In the process, Apacheta will broaden its service to customers across the U.S., while Barcoding will extend its existing suite of software in the direct store delivery and field services sector. The companies are participating in a joint marketing and sales campaign, including webinars, advertising and industry events.
