Checkpoint Systems has added two products to its suite of CheckPro Shrink Management Software products. Checkpoint is a vendor of identification, tracking, security and merchandising systems for the retail industry. Its applications capture and report on data from various store functions, including audits, guest counting, in-store incidents and internal fraud investigations. The first addition, CheckPro IncidentReporter, allows retailers to monitor the number, nature, severity and cost of incidents such as stock losses, property damage, burglaries, theft and fraud across the entire store chain. Users can record any type of incident, capturing all relevant information. Once information is entered into the program, it becomes visible to authorized users and prompts a series of actions to ensure that the incident is dealt with swiftly. The system displays a dashboard on which users can log in, outlining specific information relevant to their job roles. The second addition to the CheckPro suite is CaseManager, a Web-hosted management system that was designed to help retailers manage their responses to internal fraud. The software provides the framework to capture, investigate and handle cases of suspected fraud. It also allows managers to monitor the workload and productivity of their investigative teams.
