Kewill has entered into a marketing agreement with Oracle Corp. The deal calls for the two to integrate Kewill Flagship, the vendor's multi-carrier shipping-management software, with existing and future versions of Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) for customers worldwide. In addition, the companies will collaborate on applicable sales and marketing opportunities. The integration provides OTM customers with enhanced capabilities for quoting, rating and manifesting for small-parcel shipping. Both companies will provide support for, and maintenance of, the jointly developed integrations. Kewill develops software for manufacturers, distributors, retailers, freight forwarders, transport companies, customs brokers and logistics service providers. The new arrangement takes place under the auspices of the Oracle PartnerNetwork, which allows for the sharing of technology between software vendors.
