Con-way Multimodal has created an enhanced Quick Pay program for carriers. The new payment program provides carriers with multiple payment options and schedules. They have access to flexible compensation methods to help manage cash flow and administrative needs, the company said. Under Quick Pay, carriers can opt to receive payments through direct deposit, paper check or electronic funds transfer. Immediate pay is available for a 3-percent processing fee, and seven-day pay for a 2-percent fee. The standard 30-day pay schedule is offered at no charge. To participate in the program, carriers must submit a registration form indicating their payment preference. Payments will be processed upon load delivery and receipt of required paperwork. Con-way Multimodal is the nationwide truckload brokerage division of Menlo Worldwide Logistics. Previously known as Con-way Truckload Services, it was relaunched under the new brand name in August. Con-way Multimodal offers freight brokerage and services in the third-party logistics and multimodal freight transportation sector. It claims a network of more than 15,000 carriers.
