HighJump Software has made available software to aid retailers in the establishment of in-store fulfillment operations. Tasks made possible by HighJump Warehouse Advantage for In-Store Fulfillment include order capture, store mapping, work queue management, wave planning and real-time inventory tracking. According to the vendor, the application works behind the scenes to create a satisfying online shopping experience and tightly managed in-store order-fulfillment process. HighJump has teamed with Grocery Shopping Network (GSN) to deliver the online shopping component of the software. GSN provides retailer websites with software products that integrate shopping list building, recipes and meal planning with focused advertising content. Once a customer has submitted an order online, the order is routed to HighJump Warehouse Advantage for fulfillment. Associates at the retail grocery location then pick the order and either have it ready for curbside pickup at a customer-selected date and time, or provide turn-by-turn directions for customer home delivery.
