Compiere Inc., a vendor of hosted enterprise resource planning applications, has made available the Compiere Enterprise Edition. The tool allows users to deploy the vendor's ERP system on multi-server configurations, and simultaneously accommodate hundreds of users with large transaction volumes. The multi-server support is designed for growing organizations in need of a more sophisticated ERP system, the vendor said. The new product offers management dashboards, a visual dictionary editor and Web-services support. The dashboards contain a graphical representation of data through multiple charts and graphs. A drag-and-drop workbench allows for changes to applications using a visual dictionary editor. Compiere also announced the release of Compiere 3.5, with a number of enhancements that are available in its Enterprise, Standard and Professional editions. The update contains nearly 100 improvements, along with new financial reporting capabilities, Compiere said.
