Manhattan Associates has named Tecsys Latin America Inc. (TLA) as a geographical partner for the marketing, sales, implementation and support of its SCOPE and SCALE software suites in the Caribbean, Central America and South America. TLA is a major vendor of warehouse management system (WMS) applications in Latin America. With offices in Miami, Caracas, Bogota and Santiago de Chile, it claims more than 150 customers in 15 countries throughout the region. To date, TLA has implemented WMS software in more than 140 distribution centers in Latin America and the Caribbean. "Tecsys Latin America has an excellent track record and reputation in the supply chain industry and will complement our efforts in the growing Latin American market," said Jeff Mitchell, Manhattan's executive vice president for the Americas. Manhattan's SCOPE is a portfolio of software and technology for supply-chain optimization. SCALE, built on Microsoft .NET technology, supports distribution and transportation management.
