Confidex, a provider of industrial tag and ticket systems using radio frequency identification (RFID) technology, has opened an office in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The move was taken in order to be closer to the Latin American market, the company said. Confidex already has an extensive partner network in the region, providing systems for deployment across the continent. The new office is being headed up by its general manager for Latin America, Alexander Dannias. Headquartered in Finland, Confidex has offices across Western Europe, the U.S., India and China.
