Spring Global Mail, a Dutch provider of international mail services, has launched four "made-to-measure" services to support customers' reverse-logistics programs. The products are branded as Spring Returns, a service for distance sellers such as internet-based retailers; Spring Repair/Replace, for goods that are already in use by consumers but need to be repaired or replaced if they break; Spring Recall, for businesses that need to recall products containing hazardous materials; and Spring Recycle, for products that are reaching the end of their lifecycles. Offering customized options to global accounts, the products are supported by three service levels, depending on the desired amount of speed and visibility. Economy is the most basic and least-cost option; Insight offers track-and-trace capability, and Advance provides dedicated pickup and an express option for high-value goods. For all service levels, returns are free of charge to the sender, and products of any weight and size can be returned. Spring has been involved in the reverse logistics market for more than 10 years.
