Plex Systems Inc. has added functions to its Plex Online enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, for the benefit of customers using Salesforce.com. Delivered in the software-as-a-service (SaaS) mode, Plex Online features multiple processes related to manufacturing, including execution systems, quality management for the shop floor, supply chain management for procurement and ERP for finance and management. Developed in tandem with implementation partner Revolution Group, the new features improve the interface between Plex Online and Salesforce.com., resulting in a "cloud"-based integration of the lead-management process. According to the vendor, Plex Online provides a complete suite of customer relationship management (CRM) tools for managing the sales process, from quote tracing and order entry to release accounting, shipment tracking and revenue reporting. Revolution Group is a Premier Plex Systems Implementation Partner and registered partner of Salesforce.com.
