Infosys Technologies Ltd. has developed version 2.0 of its Supply Chain Visibility & Collaboration Product Suite. The tool provides users with "closed-loop" analytics and can aid in collaborative decision-making, the vendor said. Its self-service capabilities and role-based approach are supported by intuitive dashboards and personalized content. Logistics and finance are among the latest additions to the suite, which now offers industry-specific key performance indicators and data models across five functional areas, including sourcing and procurement, inventory and service. New features include business process dashboards, in-memory business intelligence (BI), personalized alerts and initiatives, and enhanced self-service BI. The suite's core platform is built upon Microsoft technologies, including SharePoint 2010, Office 2010 and SQL Server 2008 R2.
