Oracle Corp. has developed the version 9.1 Feature Pack of its PeopleSoft Financials and Supply Chain Management (FSCM) software. The release includes a new installation version, recertification of update scripts and additional support for customers upgrading to PeopleSoft Enterprise 9.1. New capabilities include PeopleSoft Mobile Inventory Management, an application within Oracle's PeopleSoft Enterprise Supply Chain Management suite. Enhancements to the tool's strategic sourcing module improve the management of documents associated with requests for quotes and information, bid analysis and award functionality, the vendor said. Oracle's Hyperion Planning and Disclosure Management modules are now integrated with PeopleSoft Financials 9.1. The tool offers enhanced support for global deployments across Europe, Asia and North America. In another company announcement, Oracle has introduced version 20.1 of its AutoVue application for document visualization. The release provides a platform capable of delivering engineering, asset and product information throughout the organization, Oracle said. It offers support for several new formats, along with fidelity improvements for electronic computer-aided design (ECAD), 3D and 2D computer-aided design (CAD), PDF and Office document types.
