Honeywell International has launched ISVstore.com, a multi-vendor site designed to help end users identify the software applications and data-collection devices that best fit their business needs. Currently offering more than 100 applications developed by more than 30 independent software vendors, ISVstore.com enables users of all sizes to "test-drive" various software and evaluate its performance on actual mobile computers before making purchase decisions. The site utilizes Honeywell's Remote MasterMind (ReM) for Mobility device-management software to provide demonstrations of software applications on real mobile computers. Visitors can "remote in" and test systems using live data-collection devices. Over the next few months, Honeywell will work with new and existing ISV partners to introduce additional applications on ISVstore.com. Industries served by the company include aerospace, construction, automotive and specialty materials.
