Infor has acquired several product lines from Single Source Systems Inc. to aid customers in service management. The applications include Service Management Plus (SM-Plus), SM-Plus Mobile and Workbench Suite. SM-Plus enables companies that make, distribute and service high-value or complex equipment to manage the entire service lifecycle of their products. SM-Plus Mobile allows field technicians to use a laptop or mobile device to remotely access supply-chain information such as unit configuration, incident history, service history, service contract status and parts availability while still in the field. Workbench Suite lets users consolidate several role-related screens, performance gauges, navigation shortcuts, process flow guides and advanced search and report tools in one central location. Single Source Systems is an Infor solution partner and specialist in service-management systems. Following the acquisition, Inform intends to make a number of product enhancements and integrate the tools with core Infor platforms. Several of the acquired SM-Plus products were designed to work with Infor10 ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Business, and developed using the vendor's Mongoose software-development toolset.
