Ivalua, a vendor of software for electronic procurement, has released version 7 of its Ivalua Buyer application. The tool allows users to manage every aspect of the procurement cycle, from up-front spend analysis through collaborative sourcing, as well as the entire procure-to-pay cycle. Ivalua Buyer V7 features a redesigned ergonomic framework, resulting in an improved interface with more intuitive procurement workflows. The update groups system administration and application configuration together in the same interface, allowing simple setup tasks to be performed in the same area of the application, without the need for navigating between screens. Version 7 also allows for updates to the spend-management platform. Other new features of the configuration toolset include an advanced query capability, pilot console for viewing interface and configuration updates, module activation and de-activation toolset, and audit-trail traceability. The new e-procurement toolset includes standardized punch-out catalogs, three-click requisitions, order and payment scheduling, and requisition and order consolidations. Ivalua has also made improvements to its strategic analysis and supplier relationship management tools.
