Appnuity, an information-technology consulting firm, has become a dedicated IT services division of enVista, a consultancy advising on transportation and supply-chain issues. Based in Indianapolis, Ind., Appnuity has provided technology services to the non-profit and corporate sectors since 1999. It supports both on-premise and cloud-based technologies, with a focus on the practice areas of cloud computing, virtualization, hosted and managed services, and IP telephony and call-center services. According to Appnuity president David Eckel, the deal provides his company with a national business presence, increases its client footprint and gives existing clients a broader range of consulting services. EnVista's capabilities cover supply chain, transportation and enterprise resource planning.
