According to the company, the suite of management tools provides users with access to all relevant supply-chain data, ensures that the organization is getting the best available price from suppliers, coordinates prices among multiple customer locations, reduces the amount of money invested in shelved inventory, simplifies the ordering process, and facilitates access between purchasing organization contracts and distributors. Providers do not have to be Provista members to take advantage of the new tool, the company said. Provista offers group-purchasing portfolios of suppliers and distributors, claiming 70,000 sites in the healthcare, education, hospitality and corporate markets nationwide.
