The update includes a number of new features and enhancements, including those related to global logistics management, advance shipment optimization and emissions reporting, delivered under a software-as-a-service (SaaS) model. Improvements have been made to multimodal planning, embedded ocean sailing schedules, booking management and the online storage of trade documentation. The application features proprietary optimization algorithms, designed to create "best-in-class" transportation functionality. Version 12.1.10 also includes tools to calculate and report greenhouse gas emissions, in line with current government and industry standards. LeanLogistics offers managed transportation, GreenLanes network optimization and carrier-procurement services.
