The new version includes the ability to configure workflows, through the use of touchscreen forms on the on-board computer. Additions to Cadec's library of Web services middleware allow for improved forecasting of delivery times, better asset utilization and accelerated cash flow, the company claimed. Enhanced scorecard capabilities allow users to graphically track and report on driver and vehicle performance, with green, yellow and red icons summarizing the performance of each driver. Enhanced mapping and trip-replay features draw on Cadec's Electronic Tech-o-Graph technology, which offers a combination view of speed, RPM and vehicle trail on a single screen. In another company announcement, Cadec has partnered with Energy Edge, LLC to co-market Cadec's PowerVue in-cab mobile system to the fuel-delivery market. The vendor's hardware and software feature new functionality specifically geared toward short- and medium-haul petroleum fleets.
