Version 7.1 of Acsis ProducTrak Mobile allows for real-time connectivity at every point of the supply chain, including incoming materials, manufacturing, packaging, warehousing and distribution. It supports automated data-collection and shop-floor transactions to streamline processes, along with real-time updates to existing enterprise resource planning (ERP) and other information-technology systems. Also included in the update are standard, configurable best-in-class transactions to support warehouse-management and inventory-management environments. A new customer interface speeds throughput and accuracy rates and requires minimal training to operate on multiple handheld devices, according to the vendor. Acsis VisiTrak, also now available in version 7.1, is the company's independent full-time server. It can be configured to post to an ERP either in real time or upon task completion. The tool also provides operating continuity in the event of an ERP or wide-area network outage. The latest version of VisiTrak includes device and user management, label and document management, store and forward capability for business continuity, and a workflow engine for defining interactions between devices, users, ERP and shop-floor systems.
