The Silicon Valley location will be home base for Sam Mikles, Flash Global's senior vice president of global operations. It will serve as the West Coast center of operations and client services in support of the company's local business. Flash Global said its Bay Area client base has grown "exponentially" over the past four years, necessitating weekly visits to the area by staff. Flash Global offers a suite of global aftermarket and reverse logistics services for critical-parts shippers, including offerings in emerging markets. FlashTrac, its information-technology tool, supports the company's global services, which include more than 700 forward stocking locations and 21 multi-client distribution centers across six continents.
